A 24-year-old pianist, a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Zbigniew Raubo.
He is a laureate of the National Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition (5th Prize in 2013, 2nd Prize in 2017), III Friuli Venezia Giulia Piano Competition (1st Prize and Special Prizes in 2018) and Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition (1st Prize and Special Prize in 2018).
Tymoteusz’ has given performances in the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra headquarters, the National Philharmonic, St. Petersburg, Paris, Cologne, Rome, Hannover, Venice; at the „Chopin and His Europe” Festival, as well as at the Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój. He also collaborated with numerous orchestras, such as the Symphony Orchestra of the Silesian Philharmonic, the Polish Radio Orchestra, the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
He has been the beneficiary of multiple scholarships, including those Krystian Zimerman, the Piotr Kler Foundation, the Minister of Culture, and the Young Poland Scholarship.
In 2018 he released his debut solo album, containing W.A. Mozart and F. Chopin piano concertos; his next album, containing J.S. Bach Goldberg Variations, is going to be released in 2020, under the label of KNS Classical. He is currently working on his newest album, which will contain works of Karol Szymanowski and Witold Lutosławski; on the album, he will be accompanied by Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra.
